I decided it was time to update my surfing and bodyboarding photo equipment since my Sony A100 wasn’t a very good performer with the Tamron 200-500mm in terms of AF speed, especially when tracking fast moving objects. The logical choice would have been to buy a Sony A700, but, due to the lack of tele-lenses with HSM or SSM for the Sony mount (among other reasons) I decided to change system...
Anyway, I bought a Canon 40D and a Sigma 150-500mm to go along with it. As soon as I get new photos with this combo I will post them here, so, stay tuned.
